A point-and-shoot camera / 3 cities / 11 amateur photographers
1 picture a day to depict everyday life
美術館」 （或博物館 ）那樣靜謐、隔了一層思考距離的展示空間，咖啡店內所謂的「藝廊」，也許適合用一個更生動活潑、貼近人生的角度去說話。
We’ve just thrown out the third photography exhibition at our café last month.
In the previous exhibitions, we found the air in the coffee shop is actually quite vibrant. Unlike a museum, where viewers are able to stand alone meditating, people talk and people share here. So
we started thinking… maybe it’s better for us to communicate with the public in a lighter way at the gallery along with the café.
現在的攝及生活 | 一天一張即可拍攝影展，我們分別邀請到11位住在台北、大阪、紐約的攝影愛好者
In POINTS OF LIFE: Everyday Point-and-Shoot Photo Exhibition, we invited 11 amateur photographers from Taipei, Osaka, and NYC to participate in a 30-day photography project. Each of them was asked to take a picture a day with the same type of point-and-shoot camera. The message we want to convey through the exhibition is… photography can be a light art! With a camera as
simple as Kodak disposable FunSaver, anyone can create his/her own album full of memories.
On April 4th, we had 5 of the photographers come over to our studio in the afternoon, to share their stories of the exhibited works and their experiences as amateurs. We found images and words work together as equal partners. And the best pictures are usually those represent the life their owners live.
We hope the exhibition will ignite your passion and inspire you a little about everyday life photography~.
